Description
Parametric Pipe-Thread Adapter - BSP · NPT · Metric, Any Size, Male/Female
The pipe-thread adapter your hardware store doesn't stock
Connect any two pipe threads - BSP, NPT, Metric, or fully custom - in one printed part. Pick a ready-made preset, or open the Customizer and build the exact size, gender, and grip.
Need a G1/4-to-NPT adapter the store doesn't have in stock? This one part makes any BSP/NPT/Metric thread combo - male or female, any size - with wrench flats, an O-ring option, and a fit-test strip to nail the fit. Print the exact fitting you need tonight.
This model makes that part for you. It's one rigid adapter with two independently configurable threaded ends and a flow-through bore down the middle. Set each end however you like and print it right away.
Adapt any thread to any other:
- Standards: BSPP (G, parallel), BSPT (R, tapered), NPT, Metric (M) - or go fully Custom
- Sizes: 1/8" through 1" pipe, M6 through M24
- Male or female on each end, independently
- Mix freely: BSP ↔ NPT, metric ↔ imperial, large ↔ small reducer, same-size coupler
Tons of options:
- Wrench-ready bodies: external hex (spanner flats), internal hex (hex-key socket), knurled hand-grip, or a bolt-on flange for panel mounts
- Customizable bore (hole) size
- Customizable thread depth and density
- Optional O-ring grooves
- Plain-English Customizer - every setting is labeled for humans
Note on sealing: printed threads are great for air lines, irrigation, aquariums, dust extraction, hydroponics, water features, and prototyping - but raw FDM threads aren't pressure-rated. For water, wrap a little PTFE tape or drop in an O-ring, and print in PETG or ASA. Don't use this for gas, high pressure, or anything safety-critical.
Print settings: 0.2 mm layers for 1/4" (M14) and up (0.12 mm for tiny 1/8"/M10 threads), 3–4 walls. Supports depend on the body style. PLA is fine for dry/display use; PETG/ASA for water and heat. If the fitting isn't fully right, play with the tolerance setting.
