Steam Machine Face Plates

(Half-Life, Steam, Black Mesa)

Hello! With the Steam Machine launch I customized 3 faceplates featuring Half-Life, Steam & Black Mesa. These should attach magnetically to the steam machine, it's a simple swap. 

Assembly:

Prints in 6 pieces: 1 face plate, 1 center piece, 4 corner pieces.

You have to glue the corner pieces in, these do not have a set orientation or order, just place them in however you like!

When setting in the center piece, you have to align the triangle inside the center piece to the triangle on face plate, they should be pointing at each other, after that, apply glue. 

After the glue is all set, add 4 magnets to the corner pieces, you might add a tad of glue on these so they don't come out. Uses 4 8x2 mm magnets.

Printing tips:

I have set my own ironing settings in the print profile, these work very well for me, but they might not work as well for you. Please do an ironing calibration test print first to determine which settings are best for you!

Bump up your bed temperature by 5 degrees to lower the chance of warping!

Make sure Arachne Walls are enabled!
