Whirlpool PACW212HP Air Intake Adapter
This is a custom intake adapter designed specifically for the Whirlpool PACW212HP portable air conditioner. It replaces the stock single-hose intake setup, allowing you to run a dual-hose configuration for improved performance.
Why print this?
The stock design pulls air from inside the room to cool the condenser, creating negative pressure and drawing warm air back in through door frames and windows. This adapter lets you route the intake air directly from outside, which reduces air depression inside the room and significantly improves cooling efficiency.

Printing recommendations:
- Material: PETG or ABS/ASA recommended for heat resistance near the unit
- 0.2 layer hieght
- 0.4 nozzle
- Infill: 15–20% for a good balance of strength and print time
- Walls: 3+ perimeters for airtightness
- Orientation: Print as oriented; supports are needed
Installation: Glue the two parts together, use the ridges to align the parts.
Slide the adapter onto the original air intake grill using the alignment ridges to center it correctly. The integrated supports help maintain the correct orientation as you press it into place and keep it locked securely. Attach a standard 120mm flexible exhaust hose to the new adapter port, routing it to your exterior window plate. Ensure the window panel has a matching intake hole for the second hose.
Compatibility: Whirlpool PACW212HP. May fit similar Whirlpool portable AC models with the same intake geometry, but this is designed and tested specifically for the PACW212HP.
