Bill of Materials
Description
Summer cooling / DIY cooling / outdoor family use
A reusable refillable freezer ice pack designed for portable coolers, lunch bags, temperature-sensitive items, camping, travel, and simple DIY cooling setups.
Fill it with water, leave some empty space for ice expansion, freeze it, and use it as a compact cooling block.
The flat rounded shape makes it easy to place inside a cooler bag or attach near a small fan for a simple cold-air setup.
Tested
This design has been personally tested using Bambu PLA Tough+ and has successfully completed 6 full freeze-thaw cycles without cracks, leaks, or structural damage.
Please note that results may vary depending on filament quality, printer calibration, print settings, and layer adhesion. Low-quality materials or poor layer bonding may not withstand repeated freezing.
Important
- Do not fill completely. Water expands when frozen.
- Leave an air gap inside before freezing.
- This is a 3D printed container, so always test for leaks before using it near electronics, medicine, or food.
