Refillable Freezer Ice Pack|Portable Cooling Block
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
A reusable refillable freezer ice pack designed for portable coolers, lunch bags, medicine transport, camping, travel, and simple DIY cooling setups.
Fill it with water, leave some empty space for ice expansion, freeze it, and use it as a compact cooling block.
The flat rounded shape makes it easy to place inside a cooler bag or attach near a small fan for a simple cold-air setup.
Important:
Do not fill completely. Water expands when frozen. Leave air space inside before freezing.
This is a 3D printed container, so always test for leaks before using it near electronics, medicine, or food.

Recommended print settings:
- PETG recommended for better toughness and water resistance
- PLA can be used for testing, but PETG is better for repeated freezing cycles
- 0.2 mm layer height
- 4–5 walls
- 25–40% infill
- 5+ top/bottom layers
- Slow outer walls for better sealing
- No supports required
After printing:
1. Test with water at room temperature first.
2. Check for leaks.
3. Do not fill to the top.
4. Freeze upright for the first test.
Use at your own risk.
This is not a certified medical cooling device.
For medicine transport, use an additional sealed bag and monitor the required temperature range.
Do not use directly with electronics unless the container is leak-tested and protected.
