Description

Deep within the ancient, overgrown ruins of a fallen empire stands Titanis. Once a proud celestial protector, he was petrified during the final siege centuries ago. Over generations, the magic that bound him to stone began to merge with nature. Now, he is a living relic—half-monolith, half-warrior. He remains motionless, waiting on his ancient platform until the realm needs his strength once more.

This model captures his imposing presence, designed to look like a freshly unearthed, hand-painted artifact that tells a story of ancient battles and timeless duty.

Print Settings & Recommendations

  • Height: 14 cm
  • Layer Height: 0.12 mm (Recommended for maximum detail retention). You can also print this at 0.20 mm to significantly reduce print time, but please note that some of the finer surface textures and sharp details might be less pronounced at this scale.
  • Infill: 8% Gyroid (Provides excellent structural stability while saving filament).
  • Print Orientation: Important! This figure is designed to be printed upside down (kopfüber). Printing it inverted makes support management much easier around the delicate fingers and hands, and ensures that the facial features and top-facing textures come out exceptionally clean.

Crucial Post-Processing & Bed Adhesion Tips

⚠️ ATTENTION FOR SUPPORT REMOVAL: To prevent damaging the fine parts of the model, do not try to pinch or cut the supports completely through all at once. Instead, gently pinch them halfway to create a clean stress/fracture line. Once the fracture line is formed, the supports will snap off effortlessly. Use a small flush cutter (Seitenschneider) for precision assistance around the hands and tight spots.

🧽 BED ADHESION: Make sure your build plate is thoroughly cleaned and degreased before starting. Excellent first-layer adhesion is absolutely critical since the model prints inverted and relies heavily on a solid foundation.
