The Text / Name Sign Generator transforms any letter and name combination into a clean, sculptural display piece. The geometry is fully parametric: every curve, engraving depth, offset, and rotation is mathematically rebuilt around your input to ensure perfect proportions and a polished final result.

This generator is ideal for desk decor, gift pieces, room initials, brand signage, event displays, and personalized name art.

🧠 Engineering Behind the Design

This is not a static 3mf,  the entire model is dynamically regenerated through a structured OpenSCAD system. Every parameter you adjust triggers a full rebuild of the geometry, including:

• Independent font selection for the main letter and engraved name
• Dynamic text sizing with proportional scaling
• Precision engraving depth and raised‑text height control
• Independent rotation for both the letter and the name
• Optional underline bar with full dimensional control to support floating object
• Optional name border with adjustable height and thickness
• Fillet refinement for smooth, premium edges
• Intelligent micro‑bridging for letters like i and j

The result is clean, artifact‑free geometry that slices reliably and prints beautifully in single‑color or multicolor workflows.

📝 Text Controls

• Main Letter — The large sculptural letter forming the base of the design.
• Name — The engraved or raised name placed on the letter.
• Letter Font — Font used for the main letter.
• Name Font — Font used for the engraved name.

📏 Dimensional Controls

• Letter Size — Height of the main letter.
• Letter Thickness — Depth/Z‑height of the letter body.
• Name Size — Size of the engraved name.
• Name Height — Raised height for multicolor printing.
• Engraving Depth — Depth of the carved name.

📐 Position & Rotation

• Name X Offset — Horizontal placement of the name.
• Name Y Offset — Vertical placement of the name.
• Name Rotation — Rotates the engraved name.
• Letter Rotation — Rotates the main letter independently.

🖼️ Name Border

• Enable Name Border — Turns the border on or off.
• Border Width — Thickness of the border line.
• Border Height — Height the border rises above the surface.

• Enable Underline — Adds or removes the underline.
• Underline Width — Length of the underline bar.
• Underline Thickness — Depth of the underline.
• Underline Height — Vertical height of the underline.
