Drive This Rig on CrawlBot - multi-player truck battle

Hi, My name is Wiley, I'm a product designer and 3D printing enthusiast. In my spare time I've been working on a toy construction system called ClickRigs sp[ecifically designed for 3D printable toy off road trucks. The idea is that the components can be taken apart and used to design new rigs, but also that they hold up to actual toy-truck play (jumsp, crashes etc.) without completely flying apart. They also feature realistic fully functional suspension. I'm almost done with a web-based 3D builder tool that lets you create new rig kits from the library of components. That will be released in August and will be subscription based, but I wanted to do an ongoing build here for free. I've always wanted to design an off-road racing garbage truck and I like ahowing the evolution of designs… similar to a race car that gets upgraded and improved every season.

Hence this project, the DAKARbage Truck. This is the first release, so it's a relatively stock Garbage Truck from the world of Harley Dome (the fictional world where ClickRigs live). Harley Dome is a small Utah town that in 1989 was a motorsports mecca. But a physics experiment gone wrong trapped the town in an isolated bubble. They can't leaver and all roads out of town are downhill and eventually loop back around to the other side of town. A gravity sports dream, but no one gets out. So the DAKARbage truck is what Harley Dome uses to haul the trash. But like everything in that town, it's taken to off-road extremes.

The R1 DAKARbage Truck is pretty utilitarian. It's got durable swing axle suspension, not much clearance for its oversized tires and not much wheel travel. But that's going to change with the upcoming releases. So follow along with the build. Requires a rigid material like PLA PRO or PLA, and TPU95A.

Cheers.
