Description
Note for Moderators: This is a custom-engineered model specifically tailored to the unique chassis dimensions, mounting holes, and heat dissipation ports of the Yaesu FT-710 model amature radio. It is not a scaled clone of my other rail designs.
This model is part of the modular LLDRS ecosystem. For other radio models and compatible modular accessories (like mic clips, carry handles, and others), check out the links at the bottom of the description.

(Logic Layer Design Railguard System)
When Compromise Is Not an Option
Yaesu FT-710
The Logic Layer Design Railguard System (LLDRS) is a modular external frame and accessory mounting ecosystem designed specifically for amateur radio transceivers and portable field gear. Utilizing a rigid frame design, the system provides integrated attachment rails and localized structural reinforcement, allowing operators to securely mount peripheral gear, custom brackets, and field accessories directly to their radio setup.
Expand Your Field Setup: The LLDRS Rail Modules
Elevate your portable operations with the backbone of the LLDRS ecosystem. These side-mounted structural rails instantly transform your transceiver into a highly customizable command center, giving your radio the physical mounting infrastructure it needs for rugged field deployments, Parks on the Air (POTA) activations, and streamlined desktop use.
Engineered for amateur radio operators who demand both utility and a clean, seamless aesthetic, these rails bridge the gap between heavy-duty hardware and modular convenience.
Why Add LLDRS Rails to Your Radio?
Seamless Ecosystem Integration: Gain a dedicated, attachment profile on each side of your radio designed to seamlessly host the growing ecosystem of LLDRS accessories, including custom mic hangers, factory handle adapters, acoustic sound scoops, and more.
Infinite Custom Accessory Potential: Create a truly personalized setup by using the rail geometry as a rock-solid foundation to design and mount your own custom accessories, such as tailored brackets for power distribution blocks, external gear, or specialized coaxial adapters and holders.
- A True Field-Ready Profile: Move away from cluttered, loose desk components. The rail system unifies your station into a single, cohesive unit, providing a professional and organized look on the bench or on the picnic table.

Boost Me (for free)
If the LLDRS has helped clean up your shack, protect your rig, or expand your portable setup, please consider tossing a Boost my way!
As an independent designer and ham operator, every single boost goes directly toward offsetting the cost of prototyping filaments, sourcing test hardware, and developing new modular accessories for the ecosystem.
Your support keeps the innovation loop spinning without compromise. Thank you for backing the project!
