Description
Note for Moderators: This is a custom-engineered model specifically tailored to work with the Logic Layer Design Railguard System. It is not a clone of my other rail or accessory designs.
This model is part of the modular LLDRS ecosystem. For other radio models and compatible modular accessories (like mic clips, carry handles, and others), check out the links at the bottom of the description.

When Compromise Is Not an Option
Cross Member
The Logic Layer Design Railguard System (LLDRS) is a modular external frame and accessory mounting ecosystem designed specifically for amateur radio transceivers and portable field gear. Utilizing a rigid frame design, the system provides integrated attachment rails and localized structural reinforcement, allowing operators to securely mount peripheral gear, custom brackets, and field accessories directly to their radio setup.
LLDRS Cross Member Description
Expand your mounting capabilities with the Logic Layer Design Railguard System (LLDRS) Cross Member.
Engineered as a robust top-panel utility bar, the Cross Member runs across the top of your radio to bridge the left and right structural rails. Designed specifically to unlock valuable mounting space directly above your transceiver, this accessory allows you to securely attach critical gear and accessories right where you need them. Whether you are adding a single cross member or utilizing a dual-bar setup for maximum surface area, it provides a stable, hardware-locked platform for clean and efficient workspace organization.
Key Features
- Top-Panel Accessory Mounting: Runs across the top of the radio, bridging the left and right rails to provide a dedicated, rock-solid platform for mounting external accessories and gear directly above the transceiver.
- Integrated Heat-Set Inserts: Features six M3 heat-set inserts—three on each side—allowing you to easily bolt down custom mounts, brackets, or secondary hardware without risking stripped plastic threads.
- Modular Dual-Bar Support: Fully compatible with a dual-bar configuration. Operators can install up to two Cross Members per radio setup—one positioned toward the front and one toward the back—to maximize overhead mounting real estate.
- Heavy-Duty Hardware Isolation: Installs securely using four M3x8 thumbscrews or four M3x8 button-head machine screws (two per side) for a rigid, mechanical connection to the side rails that stands up to both desktop and portable use.
Hardware Needed
(6) M3 Heat set inserts (Ruthex brand - Recomended) or (Bambu Brand)
(4) M3x8 Thumb Screws or M3x8 Button Head Screws

Boost Me (for free)
If the LLDRS has helped clean up your shack, protect your rig, or expand your portable setup, please consider tossing a Boost my way!
As an independent designer and ham operator, every single boost goes directly toward offsetting the cost of prototyping filaments, sourcing test hardware, and developing new modular accessories for the ecosystem.
Your support keeps the innovation loop spinning without compromise. Thank you for backing the project!
