⚽🏆 Kick off the fun! The World Soccer Ball v1.2 is an interactive 12-part articulating fidget toy that slides (twists) and transforms into a spiral tower. The word "Worldsoccer" is built right into its base! Perfect for football fans, as a desk toy, or as a satisfying, relaxing mechanical fidget toy.
NEW in version 1.2: I have updated the design for a better football look. The top panel is now white instead of black, and the entire design is for better printing (see pictures).
✨ Design Highlights
- The "Worldsoccer" Effect: As you pull the mechanism apart, the lower base structures fan out to reveal the printed letters spelling "Worldsoccer" (see the pictures).
- Twist & Slide Action: The unique sliding/spiral mechanism allows the football to expand and retract with an smooth, satisfying tactile feel (see animation gifs).
- Easy-to-Print Setup: No chaotic folder with tons of files! You get optimized, ready-to-go project files:
- Multi-Color: Optimized for MMU, AMS or SnapSwap systems to get that perfect classic black & white football look straight off the bed.
- Single-Color: Don't have a multi-color printer? No problem! The model looks stunning in Silk, Gradient, or Dual-Tone filaments as a single solid print.
🛠 Print Settings
- Wall Count: 2 walls recommended.
- Infill: 5–10% Gyroid or Cubic for great stability.
- Material: Works beautifully with PLA (for a crisp mechanical feel) or PETG (for a almost indestructible fidget experience).
- No Supports: Designed to be printed completely support-free and only a brim!

- Multi-Color: Optimized for MMU, AMS or SnapSwap systems, to achieve the perfect classic black & white look directly off the print bed.
- Single-Color: No multi-color printer available? No problem at all! The model also looks outstanding in single-color Silk filaments, Gradient, or Dual-Tone PLA.
