Description

A simple waste bin designed to make the most of your printer’s build volume—without looking like an ordinary 3D-printed container.

This full-size trash can measures 210 × 210 mm and stands 230 mm tall, making it close to the largest practical size that can be printed on a standard Bambu Lab printer. The softly rounded square shape provides plenty of capacity while fitting neatly beside a desk, in a bathroom, workshop, bedroom, or home office.

The vertical ribbed surface gives the bin a clean architectural appearance while also helping to disguise layer lines and minor surface imperfections. The result is a functional everyday object that looks intentional, modern, and suitable for displaying in your home.

Features

  • Full-size design: 210 × 210 × 230 mm
  • Makes excellent use of the available Bambu printer build volume
  • Minimalist rounded-square shape
  • Detailed vertical ribbed exterior
  • Large opening for easy everyday use
  • Suitable for offices, bedrooms, bathrooms, workshops, and hobby rooms
  • Can be scaled down for use as a desktop bin or small organizer
  • Simple one-piece design with no assembly required

Scaling

The model can easily be scaled down in your slicer to create a smaller version. This makes it suitable not only as a floor or desk-side trash can, but also as a compact waste bin, recycling container, or general-purpose storage basket.

When scaling, keep all axes linked to preserve the original proportions. Very small versions may require adjustments to wall count or extrusion width to maintain the exterior ribbing.

Printing notes

Due to its size, the full-scale version requires a significant amount of print time and filament. A larger layer height is a good option when prioritizing printing speed, while a finer layer height will produce smoother curves and more defined ribbing.

For the cleanest appearance, place the seam in one of the rear corners or use your preferred seam-painting settings.
