MAT BLOCK is a two-piece replacement retainer designed to securely fasten car floor mats to the original vehicle floor anchor.
The Bottom and Top pieces screw together, firmly clamping the mat between them. Once assembled, the retainer snaps onto the vehicle's original floor peg, preventing the mat from moving during everyday driving.
This design is ideal for repairing damaged floor mats or creating custom mats while keeping the original anchoring system.
Designed for
This model was designed and tested on my BYD Seal U, using the original floor mat anchoring system.
It may also fit other vehicles using the same style and dimensions of floor anchor, but compatibility should be verified before printing.
How it works
- Insert the Bottom piece from underneath the floor mat.
- Screw the Top piece onto the Bottom until the mat is firmly clamped.
- Press the assembled MAT BLOCK onto the vehicle's original floor anchor.
No glue or additional hardware is required.

- Material: ABS recommended (PLA/PETG also works)

ABS is recommended for its higher resistance to heat and wear inside a vehicle.
Notes
Before printing, verify that your vehicle's floor anchor matches the 12.8 mm locking hole.
If your vehicle uses the same anchoring system, MAT BLOCK may also be compatible.
