Description

My first real design — a two-piece screw-top jar with FDM-friendly BOSL2 threads. Near-airtight, no supports, no glue. Ball-canning-jar styling with vertical flutes and a knurled grip lid embossed with a leaf. ~90mm OD body, 72mm thread neck; fits any 220mm-class bed. Printed in PETG (grey and a purple/teal ombre shown).

Print: PETG or PLA, 3 walls, 15–20% infill, 0.2mm layer height. The jar prints upright and the lid prints mouth-down — both completely support-free. Test the thread fit after printing; if the lid binds, widen the SCAD slop parameter (default 0.40) to 0.45.

Parametric: edit stash_jar_publish.scad (needs the free BOSL2 library) to resize diameter, height, wall, thread pitch, or disable the leaf emboss (emboss_leaf=false).
