Description
Wind, Push, Spin! š
A rubber-band powered spinning top you can print, snap together, and launch ā no batteries, no glue, no screws. Just wind it up, pull the cord, and let it rip. Quick to print, easy to assemble, and genuinely fun to play with. A great project to build with kids who'll love watching stored energy turn into spin.
What you need: one thick, durable rubber band.
Ā
- š© Use a thick, durable rubber band. Thin ones wear out or snap quickly ā a sturdy, heavy-duty band lasts much longer and spins better.
- š§µ PLA works, but PETG is recommended. PETG handles the repeated stress and tension far better, so your launcher and parts hold up over time.
- š¤ Wind gently ā don't over-wind! Cranking it too far will snap the rubber band. A few smooth turns is all you need to get a great spin.
