The Breach Collection
Description
Astraea, The Last Witness, is one of the oldest surviving beings ever touched by The Breach. Neither fully mortal nor entirely stone, she exists as an eternal observer of realities long since consumed, her vigil spanning forgotten ages and broken worlds.
This highly detailed miniature depicts Astraea in a moment of solemn watchfulness, crouched upon ancient ruins as though suspended between motion and stillness. Her weathered wings fold protectively around her form while countless fractures spread across her stone-like skin, revealing the lingering scars left by centuries spent in the presence of impossible forces.
Her elegant ram-like horns, crouched gargoyle posture, and hauntingly human expression create a striking silhouette that immediately commands attention on the tabletop. Whether used as an immortal sentinel, an ancient oracle, a tragic guardian, or a mysterious ally, Astraea serves as a memorable centerpiece miniature capable of fitting countless narrative roles.
Lore
Before kingdoms vanished and histories unraveled, Astraea served as one of the Guardians of the Threshold Temples—sacred sanctuaries built to watch over the fragile boundaries separating reality from the unknowable void beyond.
When the first fractures appeared, civilizations believed they were witnessing isolated disasters.
They were wrong.
The fractures were only the beginning of a catastrophe that would become known as The Breach.
As worlds collapsed and timelines intertwined, a single entity emerged from the growing wound between realities.
Some believe she created The Breach.
Others believe she is the only force preventing its complete collapse.
No one truly knows.
What is known is that Astraea witnessed the moment everything changed.
She watched entire worlds disappear.
She watched memories unravel.
She watched history itself rewritten.
And while countless guardians abandoned their posts, Astraea remained.
The unimaginable energies released during that moment transformed her forever.
Her flesh hardened into living stone.
Her wings became monuments to an age already forgotten.
Time itself ceased to hold power over her.
Unable to age.
Unable to die.
Unable to forget.
Now Astraea silently watches the forgotten places where realities overlap and the veil between worlds grows dangerously thin.
Some believe she protects ancient secrets powerful enough to erase civilizations.
Others whisper that she serves the Worldbinder herself.
The truth has been lost to history.
Only one certainty remains.
Where Astraea keeps watch, reality has already begun to fracture.
