Description
3D printable 14x18F front fork preload adjuster tool.
Tested on Honda VTR1000F Firestorm / SuperHawk OEM front forks.
This tool is designed for the outer fork preload adjuster around the small center slotted rebound screw. The adjuster has two flat sides and two rounded sides, with preload indicator rings visible as it is turned.
Measured adjuster size:
- 14 mm flat-to-flat
- approximately 17.5 mm rounded side to rounded side
The tool is not for the large outer fork cap hex and it is not for the small center rebound damping screw.
Includes a small hanging hole for a keyring, workshop hook, or tool storage. Not intended as a leverage hole.
May also fit other motorcycles with the same 14x18F fork preload adjuster shape, such as some Honda CBR600F, CBR600RR, CBR900RR, Suzuki GSX-R 600, and Triumph models. Please measure your adjuster before printing.
Recommended material: PETG, ABS, ASA, or PA. PLA may work for light use, but it can soften or deform in heat.
Recommended print settings:
- 0.20 mm layer height
- 4 or more walls
- 35% or higher infill
- print flat on the bed
Use gently. Do not force the adjuster at the end of its adjustment range.
