Interlocking Truncated Icosahedron (Football Shape) - Customizable Size

Manually assemble a truncated icosahedron using three types of modules:

12 regular pentagonal elements, 20 regular hexagonal elements, and 60 connectors.

No glue, no supports needed.

Customizable dimensions are shown in the image below:

• There are two types of connectors, you can use either one.
  • However, if space is limited, only the smaller version (joint-s, without extended wings) can be used.
• side_length determines the size of the final assembled product. When set to 20mm, the assembled product's diameter is approximately 100mm.
  • If you want the final product to resemble a football (223mm), the side_length should be approximately 45mm.
• When customizing the size, it's recommended to print a few parts first, test the assembly, and then print in large quantities if there are no issues.
• If the connectors are too loose or too tight, you can try reducing or increasing the tolerance. (A 0.1mm adjustment is recommended each time)

The print profiles provide two sizes I used: a 20mm side length thin-line version and an 18mm coarse-line version.
