Print Profile(0)
Description
A compact and precisely fitted enclosure designed specifically for the Elegoo ESP32 DevKit V1.
After testing multiple available models that either did not fit correctly or were too tight,
this case was designed from scratch and iterated through real-world testing to achieve a reliable and consistent result.
The ESP32 can be inserted easily through the USB-C opening and pressed into place.
The lid snaps in securely while remaining removable without excessive force.

Customization (OpenSCAD included):
The OpenSCAD source files are included.
ESP32 boards can vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.
The model is fully parametric and can be adjusted if needed.
A combined OpenSCAD file is included for easy export and preview of both parts.
Adjustable parameters:
- inner_x → board width
- inner_y → board length
- inner_height → internal clearance
- usb_w → USB width
- usb_h → USB height
- usb_z → vertical position
- lid_clearance → lid tightness
Typical adjustments are in the range of ±0.1 to ±0.3 mm.
Versions:
Two versions of the case are included:
- Version with USB insertion relief (easier assembly)
- Clean version without relief (cleaner look)
The relief version slightly reduces friction when inserting the ESP32, especially around the USB-C area.

- Designed and tested on a real Elegoo ESP32 DevKit V1
- Fit is snug but functional
