Description

A miniature customizable Victorian stairway (45 degrees).  This can fit any length, left or right.  It includes four different brackets for the side decoration.  You choose which of these you like.  This model includes all the pieces for both a stairway and a railing - and a horizontal railing.   The pieces are organized on plates.

First plate: Victorian stairway parts including large rounded bottom step, a newel post, side brackets, baluster, railing, decorative panel, and top post.

Second plate: Victorian railing parts including two different posts, a baluster, railing, and decorative panel.

Third Plate: stringer, tread, and large, rounded bottom step.

If you have no stairway at all, start with the stringer and clone the number treads you need.  The stringer is in two pieces.  The larger one is approximately 8 inches including the large rounded bottom step.  If you need 10 inches, also print the small stringer part.  For other heights, just cut stringer parts as needed.

If you want a stairway railing, print parts from plate 1.  The railing is cut at 45 degrees on each end.  You will need to re-cut one end to your desired length.  Right now, it is oriented top down on the plate, as the top is the widest part.  You will want either a baluster or a panel for each step.  Also choose which of the decorative side brackets you want (see photos).

If you want a horizontal railing, use parts from plate 2 with the railing cut at 90 degrees on each end.  You will need to re-cut one end to your desired length.   Also, you might be interested to know the balusters and the railing posts are based on some of Michelangelo's drawings.

This is by far my most complex project to date.  Please feel free to ask any questions, and I will be happy to help any way I can.

This, like all my work, is roughly 1:12 scale, but you are encouraged to check the measurements and revise them as needed.  Also, if you need a different scale, it is easy to do with Bambu Studio.  Just select the model(s) and change the scale accordingly (using the little box within a dotted box).  For instance, if you want 1:24 scale, make this model 50%.  If you want 1:6 scale, choose 200% of this model.

All of my models are roughly 1:12 scale.  Feel free to re-scale, but with thin models, smaller may not work well.

Please let me know, if there is any problem printing a model.  I am always willing to help.  Maybe we can make it work - together.

I've found lots of great files here and want to contribute.   Hope someone can use them.

Thanks for looking.
