Description
Turn an ordinary screw-top PET bottle into an effective wasp and flying insect trap.
SunTrap consists of 3 easy-to-print parts designed to snap together perfectly without requiring AMS. The dimensions are optimized to ensure a secure fit between the pieces.
Simply attach the trap to a standard PET bottle, add your favorite bait, and place it in the garden, patio, greenhouse, or outdoor area.

When the bottle is full, you can either:
- unscrew the trap and empty the bottle for reuse,
- or replace the bottle with another one and dispose of it with its original cap.

The model is designed to be printed without supports.
Recommended material: PETG
Because the trap is intended for outdoor use and direct sunlight exposure, PETG is recommended for better heat and UV resistance. PLA may deform during hot summer days.
Assembly
- Print all three parts.
- Snap the parts together.
- Screw the trap onto a PET bottle.
- Add bait and place it outdoors.
