đ¤ Shadow Slave - Sunny (Weaver's Mask) Bust
Hi everyone! This is a 3D-printable bust inspired by Sunny wearing the iconic Weaver's Mask from the web novel Shadow Slave. As you can see in the actual print photo IMG_0136.jpg, the model captures the intricate, flame-like hair details and the eerie, stylized aesthetics of the mask perfectly.
đ¨ď¸ Recommended Print Settings
To achieve the best surface quality (especially for the detailed mask and sharp hair strands), I highly recommend using the following settings:
- Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm (Optimal for fine details, though 0.20mm works fine if you are in a rush).
- Infill: 10% - 15% (Gyroid is recommended for stability).
- Walls/Perimeters: 3 (Provides better strength for the thin hair tips).
- Supports: Required.
- Use Tree Supports (Auto).
- Tip: Be careful when removing supports around the sharp tips of the hair and the chin area to avoid snapping the fine details.
đ ď¸ Post-Processing Tips
- Support Removal: Take your time with the back of the head where the hair flows out. A pair of fine flush cutters will be your best friend here.
- Material Choice: The model in IMG_0136.jpg was printed using matte grey PLA, which does an amazing job of catching shadows and highlighting the sculpt details without needing paint.
