THE MODEL :
Embody the mystic cunning of the wilderness and the lavish pageantry of royal court balls with this exquisite Baroque fox masquerade mask. This unique three-dimensional design beautifully elevates the sleek features of the fox—its slender snout, alert pointed ears, and sharp eye contours are completely enveloped in a dense, cascading lattice of high-relief Rococo scrollwork and stylized acanthus foliage. Perfectly fusing woodland elegance with Renaissance opulence, this statement piece delivers an unmatched theatrical look. It is the ultimate prop for high-fantasy cosplay, historic masked balls, or to display proudly on a dressing table as a captivating dark art sculpture.
Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The fine details of the botanical carvings and the sweeping lines of the animal profile were successfully verified using matte black PLA, as featured in the file Gemini_Generated_Image_2mqf3c2mqf3c2mqf.png.
- Infill: Set at 5% for a stationary display setup. Slicing Pro-Tip for Wearability: If you plan to run ribbons or straps through the side attachment slots for active use, we highly suggest boosting the infill rate to 15% and running 4 wall loops (perimeters) to reinforce the frame edges against tension.
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Supports: Well-placed tree supports are required beneath the overhanging snout profile, under the pointed ear tips, and along the inner rims of the hollow eye arches for a clean surface finish.
Sizing Information: The model is scaled to standard adult facial dimensions. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use inside your slicing software to achieve a custom-tailored fit for your face width or to downscale it into a sophisticated cabinet of curiosities display piece.
INFORMATION:
A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?
For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.
Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
