SUL NV Cap System for PVS-14 & 40mm Optics

The SUL NV Cap System is a printable lens cap and retention setup for PVS-14 style night vision devices and similar 37–40mm objective housings.
 

Included models:

- PVS-14 Cap, No-Daylight Version, 37mm
- PVS-14 Cap, Daylight Aperture Version, 37mm
- SUL NV Aperture Cap, 40mm
- SUL Cap Retention Ring (Uses A single M3 screw from 10-12MM long)

- 1/8" or 3mm O rings should work, length depends on the distance between where you mount the retention ring.

I'll be getting TPU here soon so I will try and model some O-rings ASAP and add them here. 

EDIT: TPU 95A is not a good substitute for EDPM or rubber (who would've guessed) I'll be looking for O-ring sizes at the hardware store here soon instead.

The daylight cap includes a small center pinhole for quick function checks while keeping the objective mostly covered. 

The retention ring gives you a simple tether point so the cap can stay attached to your setup instead of vanishing into the shadow realm.

Recommended use:
Print in PETG, ASA, ABS, PA, or another durable filament. 

PLA can work for testing, but I would not trust it long-term in heat, vehicles, or field use.
 

Note:
The daylight aperture is for brief function checks only. Do not point night vision devices at the sun, bright lights, reflective surfaces, or use them in full daylight for extended periods.
