Delta Operation Weapon Accessories Open Source Project 017
017 - KC Hound Handguard (Pistol Grip Piece)
It references the fixing structure of its real-world prototype KAC handguard. It uses a snap-on + slide rail fixing method.
- Must read before printing!!! Due to the model structure and texture details of the handguard, it is recommended to choose materials with high interlayer adhesion and certain toughness, such as PETG and PA. Use modified materials (Matte, Silk, CF, GF, etc.) with caution. For the display image, I used PETG Matte printing.
- Its most unfavorable position for anti-cutting is at the snap buckle. The print plate should be tilted by 30° to strengthen its shear resistance at this point. You can also increase the angle for greater strength, but it will affect the aesthetic appearance.
- Standard supports were used to ensure no spaghetti. The supports are conservative. You can adjust them according to your preference.
