G3/4" Suction Strainer for Pump / Check Valve

This strainer (suction basket) was designed to be mounted on a 1-inch threaded fitting, upstream of a check valve or directly on a pump suction line.

It effectively filters particles (sand, leaves, debris) to protect your installation while maintaining good flow.

🔧 Features

  • Thread: G2" (plumbing standard)
  • Total length: 120 mm
  • Material tested: PLA
  • Cylindrical mesh: ~1.5 mm
  • End holes: Ø 1.6 mm
  • Design optimized for 3D printing (no supports depending on orientation)

⚙️ Usage

Ideal for:

  • Irrigation pumps
  • Water suction (tank, well, pond)
  • Installation with check valve

Compatible with my 2" cap model: once screwed onto the strainer, this cap allows the assembly to be transformed into a practical small container for storing or protecting small items.

⚠️ Recommendations

  • PLA offers good rigidity, but for prolonged use in humid or outdoor environments, prefer PETG, ASA, or Nylon.

Please upload your 3D models if you have tried other materials.

💡 Printing Tips

  • Recommended orientation: thread upwards
