Description

I made this single piece window panel for the 1/10 Toyota comp crawler body by jasonboz56 to make my truck look a bit more complete until I make or find an interior. 

 

The print profile includes two plates: one thinner window (that is trickier to print, but lighter) and one thicker window (that is easier to print, but heavier).

 

The thinner option was bit tricky to print so you may need to play with print speeds, temperature, etc. Be sure to use archane walls or you will get artifacts (in the windshield mostly), due to the thinness of the model. Add manual supports to the cowl lip.

 

With either option, paint the outer seams to a back corner so that they are hidden behind the c-pillar, otherwise the slicer will put them on the edges of the middle section of the rear window and it won't look right.

 

Attach to the body with some E6000 glue on the inside of the roof and under the cowl (and anywhere else needed to make the windows conform to the body.
