Description

Help me buy more gear: https://ko-fi.com/spete

All contributions help me get deeper and deeper into this black hole of 3D Printing :-)

You know how a certain Irish Oat Producer decided to get rid of the scoop? Well, let's fight the system. I have created a simple Oat scoop in OpenSCAD to circumvent the madness

This model is mathematically calibrated to hold approximately 74 ml of volume, which corresponds to 5 level tablespoons (the ideal 30g serving size for dry rolled oats).

27.79 Grammes of PETG filament

0.2mm layer

15% Sparse infill density

Total time: 1h17m

This is my first design, so really dipping my toe. I think I have the above filament usage correct, but happy to be corrected. I have left all settings as is. No support needed.

As the scoop will obviously come in contact with food, the recommendation is to coat the finished print in a thin layer of food-grade epoxy resin before using it inside your oat tub or use Food-safe PETG.

For some reason the model says PLA, but I have definitely used PETG

Created a Patreon as I saw a lot of people doing it. Now to find out how it actually works :-)

Boost Me (for free)

I will not beg for boosts. Feel free to give or not, it's the same to me. I print and occasionally design for the fun of it.
