• Introduction: The NX-05 Horizon Explorer is one of the most representative expeditionary vessels in the Horizon Project, specially designed for deep space reconnaissance, border patrol, and exploration of unknown star systems. To cope with extreme environments far from supply lines, the design team highly integrated firepower, protection, and maneuverability, allowing it to maintain excellent combat and survival capabilities during prolonged independent operations. As the vanguard of the expeditionary fleet, the Explorer is often the first human spacecraft to enter unknown star systems.

• Design Philosophy: The NX-05 Horizon Explorer adopts a "spear and shield coexisting" design philosophy. The extended twin main cannons at the front not only provide primary firepower but also serve as the most recognizable feature of the entire vessel. Its compact fuselage layout and swept-wing structure give it excellent high-speed maneuverability. The striking red hull coating symbolizes the expeditionary fleet's spirit of fearless exploration, while the black armed components emphasize its combat attributes as a border guardian.
   

Model Printing Notes:

• Model Dimensions:The outer bounding box dimensions of the model are approximately 430 × 290 × 230 mm (length × width × height). This size represents the minimum cuboid volume enclosing the entire model, used to determine if the display space meets requirements.

• Compatible Models:Due to its modular design, this model has been optimized for Bambu A1 mini. Users without an AMS multi-color system can also choose to print in a single color, but because some structural and detailed designs rely on color distinction for presentation, the visual effect of the monochrome version will differ somewhat from the multi-color version. For the base part, to achieve the best display effect, it is recommended to print with an AMS multi-color system to restore the layers, details, and overall atmosphere of the design. The multi-color scheme for the main model has been optimized for fewer filament changes. Even without AMS, multi-color users can achieve a manual multi-color printing effect by setting print pauses and manually changing filament at designated positions. We hope everyone can choose the appropriate printing method based on their equipment conditions to best reproduce the original work.

• Important Notes:This model contains many slender and tall structural components. To improve printing success, it is recommended to apply glue evenly to the build plate surface before printing. Due to the small contact area, without auxiliary adhesion, warping, detachment from the build plate, and other issues may occur, potentially leading to printing failure. The model uses mortise and tenon joints for assembly. Due to differences in printing equipment accuracy, filament shrinkage rate, and printing parameters among different users, some parts may be too tight or too loose during assembly, which is normal print tolerance variation. If parts are too loose, a small amount of glue or double-sided tape can be used for auxiliary fastening; if parts are too tight, a small knife can be used to lightly trim them and adjust the assembly clearance.
