Protect your Steam Controller with this sleek case that doubles as a charging dock. Designed to use as little material as possible, the complete model uses about 300g of filament, prints in one plate, and quickly snaps together into any configuration you need.
Features
The case is held together with 3 sturdy latch tabs that snap together with a satisfying click. Unlatch the bottom tab to gain access to your controller, or all of them to use the case as a handy display stand or dock. With a convenient compartment for the Steam Controller Puck, and enough clearance for most USB-C cables, the Puck can easily be plugged into your PC to connect and charge your Steam Controller. The case's precise fit ensures you controller remains protected no matter where you take it.
Printing recommendations
While not completely necessary, it is recommended to print the case using supports. This ensures that overhangs finish correctly regardless of your printer and filament, allowing the completed case to close around the controller precisely.
Please print the model using a rugged filament like ABS or PETG. I printed mine using Bambu PETG-HF. PLA is not as impact resistant and may crack over time, especially around the hinges, however some tough PLAs may work just fine.
Notes
This case was modelled using the official Steam Controller CAD models from Valve.
