Elif & Vav – Modern Islamic Calligraphy Decor
A modern interpretation of the beautiful Elif and Vav Arabic letters, designed as a decorative piece for your home, office, or prayer room.
The model is divided into three separate parts:
- Elif
- Vav
- Base
This allows each part to be printed in a different color, making it easy to create unique color combinations without the need for AMS or manual filament changes. After printing, simply glue the three parts together.
Printing
- Recommended infill: 10–15%
- The included print profile uses 15% infill, which prints successfully, but I recommend using a higher infill for improved strength and stability.
- Supports are not required (depending on your slicer settings).
- Print all parts separately and assemble them with super glue or another suitable adhesive.
- Optional: Enable Surface Smoothing (Ironing) for a cleaner finish. It will increase the print time but can significantly improve the appearance of the top surfaces.
Customization
The model can easily be scaled up or down to match your preferred size. Larger prints look especially elegant as decorative pieces.
