Description

A sunken Atlantis-inspired cave designed to sit in the corner of an aquarium, half-buried under the substrate. The interior is wide and low like a cenote, with rough organic walls featuring subtle carved details — concentric rings, trident motifs, eroded friezes — as if ancient ruins were slowly absorbed by the rock over millennia. At the back, a classical archway opens onto a staircase that curves out of sight, hinting at a deeper structure below. Two Neptune statues stand embedded in the rock, their tridents sunk into the stone to keep everything fish-safe and snag-free.

Ceiling holes let light filter dramatically into the interior. Plant roots creeping through those gaps complete the effect beautifully.

Printed in black PLA with a quick dry-brush of white to bring out the details. Once placed, the sand naturally crept in around the base and made it look like it had always been there. 🖤🤍

⚠️ Aquarium disclaimer: Plastic in aquariums is generally not recommended, and I want to be transparent about that. In my case, the tank is heavily planted — the dense vegetation naturally filters the water column and absorbs any trace elements. I also used PLA specifically because it is plant-based and biodegrades more naturally than petroleum-based plastics. That said, use your own judgment based on your setup, fish species, and water parameters. When in doubt, seal with aquarium-safe resin before placing any printed object in your tank.
