Description
PortaSplit Adapter to 2×150 mm Hoses
Perfect accessory: Airdistributor – slightly overengineered
Compatible with: Midea Portasplit Cover Touchprotection
This adapter allows the PortaSplit to be connected to two 150mm exhaust hoses
→ Adapters for 125mm and 200mm hoses have now been added, along with a closure cap
(The adapters are designed with a slightly larger diameter to allow for tool-free assembly)
→ For aluminum hoses, it may be necessary to use the next smaller adapter
The large total cross-section of the hoses ensures the required airflow
allowing the air conditioner to operate efficiently even at full power
Tested up to 5m hose per side simultaneously (150mm)
When using the heating function, compatible materials must be used
The model is assembled completely without additional accessories
Only 3D-printed parts are required – no magnets, screws, or other hardware
If heavy hoses are used and the ventilation operates at full power, it may be necessary to weigh down the adapter, simply place something on top
Assembly:
Insert and tighten the two 150mm hose adapters from the inside of the housing
(Also mount the 125mm adapter from the inside / the 200mm is mounted from the outside)
Assemble the two housing halves and then slide in the connectors
For a permanent connection, some adhesive can be used on the connectors
Without adhesive, the halves can later be separated again by careful movement
