Modular Insect Screen Frame Mosquito Net Frame
Print Profile(1)

Description
Modular custom-made insect screen frame (building block principle)
Cutting aluminum profiles or expensive custom-made solutions are a thing of the past!
100% Individual: Fits tiny basement windows as well as large roof or living room windows. Simple plug-in system: The parts interlock precisely and can be additionally glued for maximum stability. Gluing the individual female and male parts for stability is recommended but not absolutely necessary, as long as you assemble it as shown below and ONLY move the complete frame with both parts and insect screen in between as a whole. I would only glue the male and female sides at the corners to ensure the net can be replaced in case of damage without having to reprint the frame.
With this modular insect screen system, you can custom print and assemble your insect screen frame for absolutely any window.
Thanks to the clever building block principle, you simply combine the different length elements and corner pieces until you reach the exact dimensions of your window frame.
The Concept:
Endless Possibilities The system is based on corner pieces (L-shape) and straight extension elements in various standard lengths, which are connected via a stable tongue-and-groove system (Male/Female).
The print file includes :
Corner pieces: L-shape (Male / Female) Extensions: 200 mm, 100 mm, 60 mm, 40 mm (each as Male & Female variant)

Tip: By combining the different
parts (e.g. 200mm + 60mm + 40mm = 300mm)
almost any required frame length can be
precisely reproduced. In addition, I recommend, as with
building blocks for even more stability
to offset the plug-in systems on the male and
female side as much as possible,
as shown here in the picture :
Attachment to window frames: On one window, I was able to place it in an 8mm gap between the window frame and the roller blind guide, so it could hold without anything else. On another window, I unfortunately had no gap. There, I simply attached it with 4 Velcro straps (5cm), one on each side, left and right, in the upper and lower part of the window frame, so that the roller blind could be used without any problems. In the lower part, I had an external window sill on which the frame could simply stand and thus not slip down.
