🛠️ Two Versions Included in the Project:
1. Bambu LED Kit Version
Prepared with the exact geometric housing to accommodate the official Bambu Lab LED kit. A solderless, clean, and immediate plug-and-play solution.
2. LED Strip Version (Direct Power Supply)
Designed for those who prefer a classic LED strip. This version allows direct output for cables with a 5V USB switch or the installation of a classic 12V DC jack for LEDs.
- Note for Slicer: You can easily adapt the diameter and position of the hole in Bambu Studio by modifying or resizing the built-in negative component to suit your wiring needs.
Print Settings:
- File Type: 3MF (Bambu Studio Ready).
- Material: PLA (Black for the frame, and 3 types of green, or you can use one yellow and two greens).
- Supports: No supports required if printed face down on a smooth or textured PEI sheet.
- Fill: 15% (Gyroid) for the frame; 100% for the front diffuser layers to ensure even light distribution and avoid internal shadows.
Required components for the DIY LED Strip version:
To complete your Bulbasaur and Venusaur lamp using manual wiring, you'll need these simple and inexpensive components:
- LED Strip (5V or 12V): We recommend Natural White or Warm White LEDs. Approximately 15-20 cm is sufficient to glue onto the back shell.
- Power Cable (Optional):
- 5V Option: USB cable with integrated switch soldered directly to the strip.
- 12V Option: Female DC power jack (5.5 x 2.1 mm) for panel mounting (to be inserted into the adjustable hole using the slicer).
- Power Supply: Match the voltage of the power supply to your LED strip (e.g., a standard USB charger for 5V strips or a 12V mains adapter).
- Wires and Soldering Iron: Short lengths of wire to connect the strip to the USB cable or DC jack.
