Power Supply Insert for Coolers with Battery Compartment

Anyone who regularly travels with a cooler knows the problem: in addition to cables, accessories, and luggage, the external power supply unit always has to be taken along. Forgotten at home or misplaced on the go – and the cooler can no longer be operated from the mains.

Precisely for this reason, I developed a precisely fitting power supply insert for coolers with a battery compartment.

The insert is placed directly in the battery compartment and replaces the existing lid. The power supply is thus firmly integrated into the cooler. This means it is sufficient to connect a standard power cable, flip the switch – and the cooler is immediately ready for use.

No more additional power supply in your luggage, no cable clutter, and no annoying searching for the right accessories.

I placed particular emphasis on easy handling and clean integration. The insert blends in harmoniously with the cooler visually and makes optimal use of the available space in the battery compartment.

The design is intended for coolers with a battery compartment and can be used with various models. The version shown in the photos was installed in a OneBest cooler.

The advantages at a glance:

  • No separate power supply unit necessary anymore
  • Direct 230-volt connection via a standard power cable
  • Quick and uncomplicated commissioning
  • Clean and space-saving integration in the battery compartment
  • Less accessories that can be forgotten or lost
  • Suitable for coolers with a battery compartment

The idea for this project arose from my own experience: especially when camping, traveling, or in everyday life, it was always cumbersome to have to take the external power supply unit with you in addition to the cooler.

With the power supply insert, this problem is a thing of the past – simply plug in the cable and the cooler runs.

Note: Work on electrical components and mains voltage should only be carried out by a specialist. Sufficient insulation, reliable contact protection, and compliance with all applicable safety regulations are required for safe operation.
