🚀 This replica version of the reusable Bambu spool is perfect! Not for its identical appearance to the original, but for its efficiency. 💡
It performs exactly the same function using fewer resources: less print time and less filament. It only takes 135g of ABS and just under 5 hours of printing to have a brand new spool. I made it in ABS so I don't have to worry about filament drying temperature. But you can use PLA or PETG, always paying attention to the temperature if you use any type of filament dryer.🔥
This is much better than paying around €13 for an empty spool. Furthermore, it seems to me that the brand is increasingly focusing only on refills, making this type of solution even more interesting. ♻️
🛠️ How to use?
It's simple and very similar to the original process. Just print the top, bottom, and safety clip parts.
After printing all the parts, follow the procedure indicated on the refill packaging. Once assembly is complete, insert the safety clip into the joint of the two parts to prevent them from coming loose during use. If you have any doubts, the photos will help with assembly. ✅
