Hyundai N aFe Takeda Short Ram Open Air Adapter

I designed this adapter to convert the Hyundai N aFe Takeda closed-box or open-box intake into a short ram / open air intake setup.

The aFe Takeda intake is a high-quality system, but the closed and semi-open box designs keep intake and turbo sounds fairly muted. This adapter lets you keep the Takeda intake tube and filter setup while removing the airbox restriction, making the intake sound much more pronounced.

This is intended for owners who already have the aFe Takeda intake and want louder induction, turbo spool, bypass valve, and intake noises without buying an entirely different intake.

Compatibility

Designed for Hyundai N vehicles using the aFe Takeda intake system, including:

• Hyundai Elantra N
• Hyundai Veloster N
• Hyundai Kona N

Please verify fitment with your specific intake version before use.

Printing Notes

Use a heat-resistant filament suitable for engine bay temperatures.

Recommended materials:

• ASA
• ABS
• PA12-CF
• PA6-CF
• Nylon-CF
• Other high-temp automotive-grade filaments

PLA and PETG is not recommended due to engine bay heat.

Install Notes

Make sure the adapter and filter are securely mounted before driving. Periodically inspect the printed part for loosening, cracking, deformation, or heat damage.
