Ecoflow DELTA 2 MAX, Organizer & Cup holder for cars and campers

Hello and thanks for the interest in my small project. I’ve found many similar models for smaller versions of the Ecoflow DELTA on this site, but never for the “2 MAX”-variant.
It offers 2 cup holders and a box compartment for storage. The top compartment can be taken off. Currently I only have created a single type, but the FreeCAD-files are available to design custom boxes.

Feel free to remix/create new top boxes, I would love to link them here!

Since this is a very large model, I could only prototype it a few times. The image of the PETG-CF-print shown on this page show a slightly older design. It was just a tiny bit too tight, therefore I had to tape down one side. The files provided fix the issue.

Print settings

You will need a printer with at least a 256x256 mm build plate to fit all parts. When printing from the STL/STEP files, the main-model needs to be cut in half with a few added connectors (remember to add tolerance depending on your printer). I recommend PETG or ABS/ASA for all parts (except the optional TPU pad)

  • Add manual support to the fixtures on the sides and to the connectors
• clamp
  • Print twice with 100% infill for maximum strength
• gummipad (optional)
  • Print with TPU, Honeycomb infill and “Top shell layers” to 0
• ring and topbox with standard settings

Assembly

1. Put together the 2 halves of the main part, and fix them on the left and right side with the clamps
2. Put in the ring in the groove on top (the fit is intentionally tight to reduce wiggle)
3. Put the top box on the ring (this is also a tight fit, if you cant get one side in I recommend pushing against the ring with a screw driver from the side)
4. Recommended: To reduce possible vibrations, I recommend additionally gluing the top box on with some double sided tape. Optionally (if vibrations still occur) add single sided foam tape (0.5 in thickness) to the main parts inner side to also reduce vibrations and tighten the fit!
