Description

Optimize Your Pathology Workflow

Designed specifically for modern pathology laboratories, this robust storage rack streamlines the organization, sorting, and safe transportation of Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks. Whether you are archiving cases, preparing for microtomy, or moving batches between lab stations, this vertical storage solution keeps everything perfectly aligned and easily accessible.

Perfect Fit for Standard Blocks

The slots are meticulously dimensioned to accommodate standard histology cassettes and FFPE blocks measuring 41.5 x 28.5 x 5.5 mm. The vertical storage orientation ensures maximum density while allowing you to quickly read the block labels at a glance.

Highly Customizable

Make it your own! The simple geometric design makes it the perfect canvas for customization directly in Bambu Studio. You can easily add text, lab department names, custom logos, or sorting labels (like "EAT CUT LOVE") using the text/emboss tools or boolean modifiers.

Dimensions & Printer Compatibility

  • Overall Slicer Assembly Size: ~249.98 x 249.15 x 31.55 mm.
  • Bambu Lab Ready: Designed to maximize the build volume. By placing the model diagonally on the print bed, it fits perfectly on standard 256 x 256 mm plates, making it fully compatible with the Bambu Lab P1S, P1P, X1C, and A1.

Recommended Print Settings

This model is highly optimized for hassle-free 3D printing:

  • Material: PLA (Standard or Tough) works perfectly for everyday lab use.
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Profile: Standard (0.20 mm layer height is ideal for a great balance of speed and surface finish).
  • Supports: None required! The model is designed to print flat on the bed with no overhangs.
  • Infill: 80% Grid or Gyroid is enough for structural rigidity.

Bring a touch of customized efficiency to your pathology service!
