Frog Guiro / Percussion Frog
This 3D printed frog shaving doll (Frog Güiro) is inspired by the traditional Thai percussion instrument, the "croaking frog".
Holding the shaving stick, you shave along the spine from back to front to produce a croaking sound; tapping its head produces a crisp, wooden fish-like sound.
The most interesting part:
by changing the material of the string, or altering the size, wall thickness, or filler content, each frog will have its own unique tone—I printed two frogs made of different materials (PLA and PETG), and their pitches differed by almost 2.5 octaves! 🐸
Furthermore, this frog design is also suitable as a desktop stress-relieving item, a music teaching toy, or a therapeutic handheld piece.
