• Added parameters that lets you optionally add extra padding for a closer grip (at both ends of the clamp). This is useful if your visor is thinner. Be mindful of the available space; this parameter should usually stay between 0.01 mm and 4 mm.

🚗 Parametric Visor Clip for Garage Remote control

This is a parametric visor clip designed to hold garage remotes or similar accessories.

You can adjust:

• Inner case height
• Total clip width
• Extra Lenght

Each side wall is 3 mm thick, so if you want an inner case width of 32 mm, enter 38 mm total width:

32 + 3 + 3 = 38 mm

📏 Default 3MF Dimensions

If you download the non-parametric 3MF file, the default model can hold remotes approximately:

• 13 mm high
• 32 mm wide
• 3 mm additional lenght (total of 58 mm)

⚙️ Parametric Example

To achieve the same default size:

• clip_width = 38 (32 + 3 + 3)
• case_height = 13
• lenght = 3

🖨️ Printing Notes

Ideally, print in PETG at minimum for better resistance to car temperatures.

ABS/ASA would be even better.

PLA can also work, but it may warp or loosen over time. If that happens, simply reprint it.
