Description

Build your own high-capacity, fast-charging power bank with this sleek, minimalist enclosure designed specifically for the popular IP5328P module and four 18650 lithium-ion cells. Designed with a focus on functional engineering and clean aesthetics, this case provides a secure and durable housing for your daily carry (EDC) power needs.

Key Features

  • Perfect Fit: Custom-designed for the IP5328P fast-charging board (Type-C PD, Dual USB-A, Micro-USB) and 4x 18650 batteries.
  • Minimalist Design: Features a clean, modern exterior with perfectly aligned cutouts for USB ports and LED battery indicators.
  • Thermal Management: Internal spacing allows for adequate heat dissipation during high-wattage fast charging protocols (QC3.0 / PD).
  • Sturdy Assembly: Engineered with tight tolerances for a solid, premium feel in the hand.

Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • 1x IP5328P Charging Controller Module
  • 4x 18650 Lithium-Ion Batteries (Use matching high-drain cells from a reputable brand)
  • Nickel strips or heavy-gauge wire for parallel battery connections
  • (Optional) Thin double-sided tape or foam padding to secure the cells tightly against the enclosure walls.

Recommended Print Settings This model is optimized for modern high-speed printing platforms.

  • Slicer: Designed with standard 0.4mm nozzle tolerances in mind. For optimal bridging and precise port cutouts, slicing in OrcaSlicer is highly recommended.
  • Material: Matte PLA provides an excellent, premium surface finish for the exterior. However, for maximum durability and heat resistance during prolonged fast charging, printing the shell in PETG is highly advised.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm (provides the best balance of speed and structural integrity).
  • Wall Loops / Perimeters: 3 to 4 walls for a rigid, crush-resistant body.
  • Infill: 15-20% Gyroid or Cubic.
  • Supports: Minimal tree supports may be required for the USB port overhangs depending on your printer's cooling capabilities.

Assembly Notes Ensure all batteries are balanced to the exact same voltage before connecting them in parallel. Solder the connections carefully, keeping wire runs as short as possible to reduce resistance. Insert the IP5328P board into the designated slots first, ensuring the LED indicators align with the exterior shell, then carefully seat the battery pack.
