Forearm Trainer for Pronation & Supination

Product Description

This 3D-printed forearm trainer was specifically developed for targeted training of pronation, supination, grip strength, and the entire forearm musculature. By winding a rope up and down around the integrated outer ring, a freely selectable weight is moved. The load is applied exclusively through controlled rotational movements of the forearm, effectively training both strength and muscular endurance.

The system allows for individual adjustment of training intensity through different weight plates and rope lengths. The robust construction is designed for high loads and is suitable for ambitious athletes as well as for use in rehabilitation and prevention.

Note: For use, a suitable rope and a weight (e.g., weight plates) are additionally required. These components are not part of the model and must be provided separately.

The rope is guided through the integrated rope channel and wound around the outer ring. A weight can be attached to the free end of the rope. Through controlled pronation and supination of the forearm, the weight is raised or lowered.

Safety Note: Only use sufficiently strong ropes and fasteners. Before each use, check the secure connection between the rope, weight, and training device. Damaged or worn components should be replaced immediately.

Advantages

  • Targeted training of forearm pronation and supination
  • Effective development of grip strength and forearm musculature
  • Variable load through freely selectable weight plates
  • Adjustable training ranges through different rope lengths
  • Promotes strength endurance, stability, and rotational control
  • Compact and simple training device without moving parts
  • Ideal for sports requiring high forearm strength
  • Robustly constructed and designed for high loads

Notes on Stability and Safety

  • Check for damage or cracks before each use.
  • Maximum load capacity depends on print material, print quality, and print settings.
  • Only use high-quality and correctly assembled ropes.
  • Always securely attach weight plates.
  • Increase load gradually and first test the construction with moderate weights.
  • Use is at your own risk.
  • Do not continue to use the component if visible material damage or deformation occurs.

Suitable Application Areas

  • Strength training and bodybuilding
  • Armwrestling-specific forearm training
  • Climbing and bouldering
  • Tennis, Padel, Badminton, and racket sports
  • Martial arts and grappling
  • Rehabilitation after forearm and wrist injuries
  • Prevention of overuse injuries in the forearm area
  • General training of grip strength, rotational strength, and muscular endurance

Main muscle groups trained:

  • Pronator teres
  • Pronator quadratus
  • Supinator
  • Brachioradialis
  • Wrist flexors and extensors
  • Supportive muscles of the hand, forearm, and elbow
