Thanks to four embedded magnets, it can be attached underneath a mailbox, behind a metal cabinet, inside a shed, on a steel beam, or in countless other discreet locations.
Whether you’re leaving access for a family member, cleaner, pet sitter, contractor, or simply want an emergency backup key available when needed, this vault provides a practical and easy-to-use solution.
As an added bonus, the design also includes an optional compartment compatible with an Apple AirTag, allowing you to track the vault’s location if desired.

Printing
This model is designed to be beginner-friendly and straightforward to print.
Recommended settings:
- 0.20 mm layer height
- PLA or PETG
- No supports required
- 15–20% infill
Hardware Required
The design uses four small neodymium magnets.
The magnets are inexpensive and readily available from AliExpress and many other online retailers. The magnets used for this model can be found here:

A small drop of super glue can be used to permanently secure the magnets if desired.
Optional AirTag Compatibility
An integrated compartment allows an Apple AirTag to be installed if you wish to track the vault’s location using Apple’s Find My network. The AirTag is entirely optional, and the vault functions perfectly well without one.
Important
Always use common sense when selecting a hiding location. Avoid placing spare keys in obvious or easily accessible locations.
