Description
Blackout screw style “dot” for Leica Q/M cameras (10mm diameter).
Used to replace the red “Leica” dot to make the camera more stealthy. Fits Leica Q/Q2/Q3 series (tested personally) as well as M series (untested personally, but should fit).
Printing and finishing instructions:
- Tested with PLA and PETG materials. You may try other ones as well. Use matte black filament for best results.
- The profile is already setup for 0.3mm thickness. You may adjust the thickness mased on the adhesive you decide to use.
- Use ironing for all surfaces (enabled in the profile).
- Once printed, gently sand the surface with high-grit (1000 and above) sandpaper to improve the surface further.
Installation instructions:

- Gently heat the red dot on your camera using a hairdrier to soften the glue (do not overheat the camera).
- Use a toothpick to gently pry the red “Leica” sticker off. Go slow and careful.
- Stick the original dot to some baking paper or sticker backing paper - this will let you reuse it with the original adhesive later.
- Use a thin double-sided tape (3M 0.2mm or similar) or some gentle soft glue to attach the printed dot to the camera, aligning it with the socket.
- Enjoy the stealthy Leica look!
