THE MODEL :

Forge an atmosphere of epic lore and dark romance in your collection with this magnificent ornamental battle axe. This unique three-dimensional model seamlessly blends the anatomy of a mythical beast with the silhouette of a prestige weapon: the head of the axe takes the form of a fierce, roaring dragon, while its webbed wing unfolds to shape a majestic cutting blade. Beautifully embossed with dense Baroque scrollwork, Rococo flourishes, and chiseled scale textures, the detailed handle extends down to a pointed, ornate pommel. It is the ultimate statement artifact to accent a library bookshelf, anchor a dark fantasy study desk, or complete a high-end royal armor cosplay.

Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The sharp definition of the dragon's crest, the fluid lines of the wing-blade, and the intricate handle patterns were successfully verified using matte black PLA, as displayed in the file Gemini_Generated_Image_abnobgabnobgabno.png.

  • Infill: Set at 10% for a lightweight stationary display setup. Slicing Pro-Tip: Because the weapon geometry is highly elongated on a slender vertical axis, if you plan to handle it for cosplay or display it upright, we advise boosting the infill to 25-30% (using gyroid pattern) and running 4 to 5 wall loops (perimeters) to stiffen the core shaft against accidental snaps or twists.
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Supports: Well-placed tree supports are highly required beneath the dragon's overhanging lower jaw, along the lower curve of the wing-blade, and under the protruding grip ornaments for a clean finish.

Sizing Information: The model is scaled to a sophisticated display size optimized for tables or dedicated weapon racks. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use within your slicing software—whether to upscale it to your machine's diagonal physical limits for a full-scale prop replica or to downscale it into a striking custom letter opener.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
