Description
I made some Meus axle weight hangers that use modified pennies. I also included a tool to bend the penny to aid in fitting 7 (vs 5 flat) pennies. This ends up being 25ish grams of weight per corner if using pre 1982 pennies. for reference, five .25" tungsten cubes (the most I fit in hangers for 1.8) only weighed 2ish grams more. A little bit of e6000 and the hanger and the pennies stay in place. There is a right and a left specific hanger.
The tool is self explanatory for the most part. You'll need 2 m2 screws that are 18-20mm long and a way to squish the pennies. I use knipex #86 parallel pliers but a vise or something would work fine, it doesnt take a ton of effort.
