Description
Boost Me (for free)
Hey! š I designed this on a camping trip through Denmark when my MCR-9 button fell out in the middle of nowhere. The original remote costs ā¬80+ for what is essentially a tiny plastic cap so I modeled a replacement on my phone and printed it at home afterwards. If this saved you ā¬80 and some headaches, a boost would mean a lot and helps other campers find this fix too! š Happy travels! š
The problem: The original Waeco/Dometic MCR-9 remote control costs ā¬80+ just because a tiny button broke out. This print fixes it for free.
The solution: A replacement button cap designed to fit the oval opening of the MCR-9 remote control housing. The pill-shaped body fills the housing perfectly, with a small round tip at the bottom that triggers the tactile switch underneath. The cap sits 8mm total height, slightly proud of the housing so it's easy to press. Just tape it, do not use glue.Ā
