Description

A lightweight, high-durability tail skid to replace heavy tail wheels on EPP/Depron 3D foamies. Designed with a mounting tab that glues directly into a pre-cut slit in the bottom of the fuselage.

Features:

  • Drops Weight: Improves 3D CG compared to standard wheel hardware.
  • Smooth Glide: Curved profile handles grass, dirt, and tarmac without catching.
  • Easy Install: Cut a matching slit in the foam, apply CA/UHU Por, and push it in.

Print Settings (Important):

  • Orientation: Print flat on its side. Do NOT print it upright, or it will snap along the layer lines on your first hard landing.
  • Material: ABS, ASA, or PETG highly recommended for maximum abrasion and impact resistance.
  • Infill: 100% (Solid).
