Wind up race dune buggy!
Print Profile(2)

Description
Building off the racecar platform I designed using the pull string wind up motors, I designed a different body for the motor to fit into. Inspired by the racing dune buggys of the 80s with its long nose and wide body and high mounted wing. This buggy is sure to be hours of fun for the kids and adults.

The car is comprised of a few parts the body and wing, 2 front wheels, front axle, rear 2 wheels, bigger pull tab cone, and 2 pieces of 1 inch heat shrink. below is a link for the pull back motors and youtube video on how to assemble.
Assembly instructions:
STEP 1: take your wind up motor and install the wheels they are press fit but you may need glue if they are too loose and if they are too tight you can heat up the axle and press on the back wheel ***please get an adult to help you with this***
STEP 2: Cut 2 pieces of 1 inch or 25 mm heat shrink and fit it over the back wheels this will give the car more grip
STEP 3: fit the motor in the frame there is a notch on the back of the motor and rear of the frame fit them together and line up the motor and snap them together.
Step 4: wind back the motor or use pliers to grab the pull tab and install the bigger pull tab by slipping the string through the slot on the bigger pull tab
STEP 5: Install the front wheels and axles they are simply press fit but you may also need glue if they are too loose.
